Straight 8 Estate - Award-Winning Vineyard in Canterbury Plains
Located at the top of Canterbury Plains, a half-hour drive south of Christchurch in the Burnham area, Straight 8 Estate is an award-winning vineyard that was planted in the mid-1980s through to 1992.
The vineyard produces an award-winning range of single-vineyard wines, including Rose, Rieslings, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir that express the terroir and flavors of the region.
Cellar Door Tasting
Visitors to Straight 8 Estate can enjoy a relaxed environment with plenty of chairs to sit and enjoy the wines. The vineyard's cellar door is open seven days a week from 9 am till 6.30 pm.
