The sunrise is best viewed during the cooler months, allowing visitors to witness the breathtaking beauty of the natural surroundings.
To get to the Sunrise Viewing Area Talinguru Nyakunytjaku Petermann, visitors need to enter the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, which is approximately 25km from the town of Yulara. A park pass is required, which can be pre-purchased online for a hassle-free entry. From Yulara, visitors can drive or take a shuttle bus to the main gate and then continue by car to the viewing area. It is recommended to arrive at least 30 minutes before sunrise to secure a good spot.
