Description
Red Bluff offers a heavy left-hander with a steep takeoff followed by a pitching lip and deep barrel. Strictly for the experienced surfer.
Every winter, Australias North West is known to produce some of the heaviest waves around the world. Red Bluff, located along the coast of Quobba Station, produces a deep barrel that races along the reef into a channel notorious for sharks. Its a hard paddle out and another hard paddle into the wave so be sure to talk to one of the locals to get the run down. Red Bluff works best in south-easterly winds and south-southwest swells during mid-tide.
