Taradale Mineral Springs Reserve is a public park located in the center of Taradale, Australia.
The Reserve offers stunning scenery along Back Creek and features a creatively designed wooden playground, a mineral spring tap, various walking tracks, and an undercover barbecue area with an open fireplace. It also provides public toilets, free-to-use gas barbecues, and ample seating for visitors.
At Taradale Mineral Springs Reserve, visitors can explore the walking tracks, have a picnic, and enjoy the playground equipment. The Reserve offers several walking tracks, including the Viaduct Walk, King Billy Bridge Circuit, Deardens Creek Track, Fryerstown Road, Cypress Drive, and Cemetery and Wright Street.
The Viaduct Walk is a 1 km flat walk to Taradale Viaduct and the site of Royal Oaks, with access to Barkly Park and a picnic table. The King Billy Bridge Circuit is a 2 km gentle hills walk. The Deardens Creek Track is a 3 km gentle hills walk that starts as the 'Old Drummond Road' track with a shorter route to Channel. The Fryerstown Road is a 2 km short, steep hills walk that passes historic buildings, views, small farms, and vineyards. The Cypress Drive is a 2 km gentle hills walk that leads to views over Tara Lake. The Cemetery and Wright Street is a 3.5 km gentle hills walk that passes open country, tree-lined sections, and historic Taradale.
