Description
Temple Gorge is the hub for accessing the eastern side of the range.
Temple Gorge has a campground and provides walking access to the gorges and top of the range.
Temple Gorge TrailVenture into Temple Gorge along the dry creek bed to sandstone features and a seasonal rock pool. The ‘Temple’ is a prominent rock face along this trail.
Distance: 2km return Time: allow 1 -2 hours Difficulty: Class 3
Escarpment TrailStart at either Draper's Gorge car park or Temple Gorge campground. The trail leads into a narrow gorge that ascends to the top of the range for spectacular views. This trail is steep with loose rocks and traverses near exposed cliff edges.
Distance: 3.4km return Time: allow 1.5 - 3 hours Difficulty: Class 4
