Join Albany's sheriff of silliness, slinging zingers as he serves up absurdity, takes down some of the biggest comics in the industry, and answers some of life's big questions.
WA's new Cowboy of Comedy - 18 y/o 2x Class Clowns National Finalist Hardy Croucher - couldn’t catch a break if it was shaped like a frisbee.
His girlfriend left him, he almost got arrested, and to top it off, a McDonald’s employee was rude to him.
Now, in 2025, he's revved up and ready to embark on a stand-up comedy journey of revenge, ambition and, possibly... love?!
After an acclaimed 2023/4 premiere, Croucher's debut solo hour, an off-beat multimedia bonanza, comes to FRINGE WORLD for the first time.

Reviews
“This is one of the most intelligent, wittiest, surrealist and, yes, funniest shows we’ve seen” Denmark Arts, 2023
Presented by
Hardy Croucher
Hardy Croucher was born in Albany in 2006 and has survived for 18 years without dying, and likely never will. At 14 he started doing stand-up comedy, going to Melbourne for MICF's Class Clowns competition twice over. In 2024 he performed on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow as the guest performer for Albany (the first local guest selected for over three years in Albany). Having shared the stage in WA and interstate with top tier acts Lizzy Hoo, Josh Glanc, Dane Simpson and 'Best of the Fest' winner Sam Campbell, just to name a few, he is widely considered - by the people who happen to know him - as the best Western Australian, male, 18-year-old blond comedian of the last three years (who was born in Albany and has a scoliosis diagnosis).
