Description
From the 1970's, gay men would use different coloured hankies to indicate to each other what they were into sexually. What started off as about 10 colours, shifted into 60+, depending on who you ask.
Placing a hanky in the left pocket indicates the wearer’s alignment with a top/dominant role, while a hanky in the right pocket indicates the wearer’s alignment with a bottom/submissive role.
In this show, Jarryd Prain (Raw Comedy National Finalist 2023) will take an elbow-deep look into the different colours and what they represent, how has this code evolved 50 years later, and most importantly, how can Jarryd directly relate all of these things to his own life and his own sexual journey?
