A family of four wanted their new kitchen to be designed around their laid back but style-conscious lifestyle needs.

Kitchen Capital WA was called in at the early planning stages of this new home to create a layout promoting style along with ease of use. The design needed to incorporate a breakfast bar, tall cabinets and spacious appliance cupboard.

The design was altered a little from the original plan to ensure complete functionality. A large island bench was incorporated at the centre of the design to provide plenty of space for food preparation, as two people in the household often use the kitchen simultaneously.

A huge bi-fold appliance centre was also included, not just for storage of regular benchtop appliances like a toaster and kettle, but to double as a second pantry and hold all types of breakfast ingredients.

The satin lacquered cupboard doors in Frosty White and Caesarstone benchtops are juxtaposed with mocha used as an accent colour and the stainless steel kickboard. The clients chose mostly Mielé appliances to match their new modern kitchen along with an Ilve six-burner cooktop.
