Third Quarantine Cemetery Tour

Experience the beauty of North Head Sanctuary, Manly and learn about the lives of those who were laid to rest there during the Third Quarantine Cemetery Tour.

Listed on Australia's National Heritage List, the cemetery was established in 1881 to provide a final resting place for the victims of a smallpox epidemic. During a 60-minute tour, our knowledgeable guide will tell the stories of those who succumbed to influenza, smallpox, the bubonic plague and scarlet fever. Plus, you'll get to take in the stunning views of Sydney Harbour. This all-ages tour runs from 11am to 12pm on select Sundays.
