Thylogale Track

Thylogale Track is a popular walking trail located in Mount Nebo, Queensland.

This easy and pleasant stroll winds through dense rainforest and eucalypt forest, ending at Boombana Picnic Area. The well-maintained trail is shaded by towering trees and is suitable for all ages and skill levels. The Jolly's Lookout end of the trail offers incredible views stretching to the coastline. The 8-kilometre hike takes about two hours to complete at a leisurely pace. Restroom facilities are available at Jolly's Lookout and Boombana Picnic Area, with a baby change room at Jolly's Lookout. The trail is accessible year-round, with the best time to visit being from April to September for mild temperatures and low humidity. The trailhead is located within D'Aguilar National Park, approximately a 45-minute drive from Brisbane. Visitors can access the park from Brown Street in Dayboro or Mount Nebo Road in The Gap, with parking available at Jolly's Lookout car park.
