Description
Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve is a scenic destination near Canberra, located on the fringe of Namadgi National Park.
It covers a large valley floor and two elevated locations, Tidbinbilla Mountain and the Gibraltar range. The reserve has a rich history dating back to Aboriginal and European use, with Tidbinbilla mountain being used for Aboriginal initiation ceremonies. The reserve is classified as an IUCN Category II protected area and is the traditional Country of the Ngunnawal people. It has a notable history of conservation under the management of David Kerr.
