Nestled in the outskirts of Cooktown, Trevathan Falls is a secluded and picturesque waterfall destination.

Trevathan Falls is a great spot to visit throughout the year, but it is most magnificent after heavy rainfalls. The rainy season (November to March) offers a memorable experience with fuller falls and lush vegetation.
To access Trevathan Falls, a 4WD vehicle is necessary due to the rugged road leading to the waterfall. The falls are approximately 45 minutes' drive from Cooktown, with clear signage guiding travelers along the route.
