Tunnels and Gunners Tour

Discover the secrets of Sydney Harbour's past at Headland Park's Georges Heights.

Our 90-minute Tunnels and Gunners Tour takes you through two sets of demilitarised fortifications, including tunnels usually closed to the public. Led by an experienced volunteer guide, you'll explore gun emplacements and other military relics dating back to the 1870s. The tour ends at the Headland Park Artist Precinct, where you can meet local painters, potters, sculptors and photographers. Join us on the first Sunday of every month at 10:45am for an all-ages adventure. Probus groups, tour operators and other interested parties can submit a large group tour request form. A minimum purchase of 10 tickets is required.
