The beach break on the sandy beach offers both right and left-hand waves, and there are various peaks to choose from along the beach. The wave is known to offer some of the longest surfable waves in the world, with Manu Bay's left-hand break being legendary. The beach is also patrolled by lifeguards, making it a safe place to swim and surf.Wainui Beach is a long black sand beach that is clean and quite long.
