This amazing tour gives you the chance to witness Australia's native tropical wildlife in their natural habitat, both during the day and night.
From the elusive platypus to the rare Tree Kangaroo, this is a unique opportunity to experience the wonders of nature up close. With a maximum of 11 participants, you'll be picked up from your hotel/accommodation in the afternoon and driven to the Atherton Tablelands along the Gilles Highway south of Cairns. You'll get to admire the stunning Crater Lakes and the majestic strangler fig trees, with your experienced naturalist guide pointing out the local wildlife and flora. Afternoon tea will be served at the picturesque Lake Barrine, followed by a visit to the exclusive platypus viewing area. Then, dinner will be served at a local restaurant on the Tablelands. As the sun sets, you'll venture deep into the rainforest, where you'll have the chance to spot possums, platypuses, birds, snakes, frogs, kangaroos, and flying foxes.
