Walk With History At Penola Penola is a great way to explore the town and experience the marvels of Penola. Your walk will include Petticoat Lane, a charming lane that consists of original cottages dating back to the 1850s. The lavender and herb farm is another must-see attraction located on your walk. Additionally, you will find several churches, galleries, and other historic buildings that have been restored to their former glory. You will also find a range of cafes, restaurants, and shops along the way.
Walk With History At Penola Penola is open to visitors every day throughout the year. It is therefore advisable to check the opening hours for each of the attractions before you begin your walk.
The Walk with History Brochure and more information about the walk is available from the Penola Coonawarra Visitor Information Centre, which is located at 27 Arthur Street in Penola. The Visitor Information Centre is open every day, and you can purchase the brochure, which includes a map and all the information you need to complete the tour. Alternatively, if you prefer a more interactive experience, Penola Walk With History now has a talking app which you can download from Google Play or the App Store by searching "SA Heritage".
