Wanneroo Community Men’s Shed

The Wanneroo Community Men’s Shed is a non-profit organisation accessible to all men. Its major objective is to advance the health and well-being of the members and to encourage social inclusion.

The shed's main activities are refurbishing and recycling of computers. Once refurbished the computers are for sale at affordable prices to Centrelink recipients, charity organisations, and other non-profit organisations.

The shed has dedicated woodwork and metalwork sections where members can carry out tasks which assist community based projects. There is a deconstruction and salvage area, where computers and IT products not destined for a second life, are separated to reclaim the components of value.

Wanneroo Community Men's Shed is a registered member of Microsoft's Refurbisher program (RRP), so are able to install genuine Microsoft products onto suitably refurbished computers.

All recycled computers have been donated by private individuals, local small businesses, major corporate companies and government departments. Printers, flat screen TVs, mobile phones, tablets, modems, all cabling, batteries and other IT products are also accepted.

• Wednesday 8.30am - 1.00pm (Recycling and Workshops)
• Thursday 8.30am - 1.00pm (Workshops)
• Friday 9.00am - 2.00pm (Computer Refurbishing and Recycling)
