Established in 1965, the Wanneroo Horse and Pony Club hosts numerous events catering to all ages and abilities, and is eager to pass on their passion for horse riding and knowledge to others.
Wanneroo Horse and Pony Club (WHPC) was established in 1965. The large grounds, including grassed arenas and a cross country course catering for up to C grade, are set in native bushland. The hard-working committee is dedicated to fostering the aims of Pony Club Western Australia (PCWA). WHPC's fantastic group of instructors share a passion for horse riding and horsemanship and are eager to pass on their knowledge to the riders. WHPC hosts monthly rallies and numerous events catering for all ages and abilities. Additionally, WHPC always sends a large contingent of riders to PCWA Championships and consistently takes home many of the top awards!
Aims
To encourage young people to ride and to enjoy all kinds of sports connected with horses and riding.
To provide instruction in riding and horsemastership and to instil in members the proper care of their animals.
To promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of character and self-discipline.
