Whaling Cove is a stunning beach located in Albany, Western Australia.

This larger beach is made up of about 300m of white sand and is sandwiched between the incredibly transparent blue sea of Frenchman Bay and the thick bush of the Vancouver Peninsula. The area is notable for Albany's Historic Whaling Station, the only complete whaling station tourism attraction in the world. The station provides a fascinating insight into Albany's colorful past and is recognized as a state-heritage listed site and Silver Medal Winner in Cultural Tourism at the 2019 Western Australia Perth Airport Tourism Awards.

Whaling Cove is perfect for visitors to enjoy a leisurely day out. They can enjoy swimming, sunbathing and relaxing on the beach. The beach is also home to over 100,000 species of native plants, which are now displayed in the Regional Wildflower Garden. Visitors can enjoy free barbecues in the gardens and learn about the friendly collection of native animals at the Australian Wildlife Park.
