Description
Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beach Circuit in Freycinet National Park is a popular hiking destination in Tasmania, Australia.
The 12.8km hiking trail is located on Tasmania's East Coast and offers beautiful views and a medium-difficult hike with steep grades. Visitors can start the trail at the car park and follow the trail to the Wineglass Bay Lookout, Hazards Beach, and the crystal-clear waters of Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beach.
The best time to visit the trail is during the summer months from December to February when the weather is warm and dry. Visitors can reach the location by car or by joining a guided tour.
Facilities at the national park include electric barbecues, picnic tables, and toilets located at Honeymoon Bay and Ranger Creek. Drinking water is scarce in the park, so visitors are advised to refill their water bottles from the visitor center's filtered/chilled water station or taps located at Honeymoon Bay and the Wineglass Bay Walking Tracks Car Park. The visitor center is open daily, and seasonal activities, including guided walks and presentations, are available during peak seasons.
