Description
Located in the Freycinet National Park, Tasmania's Wineglass Bay Lookout is a popular tourist stop known for its spectacular views of the beach and coastal landscape.
The lookout is reached through a moderately difficult uphill walk that takes you through coastal woodlands and past granite boulders. The track distance is about 1.3km, and there are resting seats along the way. The climb is rewarded with striking views of Wineglass Bay. It is recommended to do the walk in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds. The best time to explore Wineglass Bay Lookout is during the summer months. To get there, you will need to enter the Freycinet National Park and start at the Visitor Centre. The walk is graded as 3 with steep tracks, so caution should be taken, especially for those with small children or mobility difficulties.
