If you are looking for a fun and adventurous hiking experience, then Yangie Bay Hike in Coffin Bay National Park, Australia is an excellent choice.
The trail system is well developed, and there are four different hikes to choose from, each with its unique views and challenges.
The main hiking trail in the park is the Yangie Bay Hike. It is a 45-minute hike that covers a distance of approximately 2 km. Along with the trail, hikers have the chance to see fabulous ocean views of Thorny Passage Marine Park, and walk through the coastal mallee. Additionally, there is an opportunity to experience three other hiking paths. The Yangie Lookout Walk is a 20-minute ascent that covers 1 km of distance from which great views overlooking Yangie Bay and Marble Range can be seen. The Yangie Island Hike is a path that is 5 km long and takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to complete. This hike offers a much closer view of Yangie Island from the adjoining beach. Lastly, the Long Beach Hike, which is a bit longer but covers 20 km with a duration of 7-hours, offers a scenic view of the coastline.
In addition to the great hiking experience, the area is teeming with wildlife, such as emus, kangaroos, goannas, and other birds that can be spotted along the way.
The best time to visit Yangie Bay Hike is during the cooler months of the year, from April to October. During these months, the weather is mild and pleasant, and the wildlife is more active.
