Yarrunga Lookout Fitzroy Falls is a scenic lookout point located at the southern end of the East Rim and Wildflower walking tracks in New South Wales, Australia.
From the lookout point, visitors can take in breathtaking views in several directions.
To the north of the lookout point, visitors can see a variety of tall forests and lush rainforest gullies winding their way down to Yarrunga Creek. This scenery is particularly beautiful on a clear day when the sunlight filters through the trees and illuminates the forest floor. Visitors can also enjoy panoramic views of Fitzroy Falls and the surrounding rocky terrain.
Yarrunga Lookout Fitzroy Falls is open to visitors all year round. During the spring, the wildflowers in the area come into bloom, adding an extra layer of beauty to the already mesmerizing landscape.
To get to Yarrunga Lookout Fitzroy Falls, visitors can take the Hume Highway from Sydney or Canberra and exit at Mittagong. From here, they can take the Illawarra Highway towards Moss Vale and follow the signs to Fitzroy Falls. There is ample parking available at the national park, and the lookout point is only a short walk from the car park. Visitors can also opt to take public transportation, with trains running from Sydney to Mittagong station regularly. From here, they can take a taxi or a bus to Fitzroy Falls.
