Mount Mulligan accommodation

Mount Mulligan Lodge offers boutique and luxurious accommodations in the secluded and entirely private 28,000-hectare heritage site of Mount Mulligan, Queensland. The lodge accommodates just 28 guests in spacious and contemporary retreats that complement the landscape, offering a charming take on pastoral living. Each retreat overlooks a eucalyptus-fringed weir and provides views of the ever-changing moods of Mount Mulligan. The accommodations feature a raw external charm with spotted gum timber cladding, pitched roofs, deep verandahs, plush linen, sisal rugs, and lavish leather furniture, mirroring the hues found in the landscape outside. The ensuite bathrooms are luxurious and calming, and guests can enjoy uninterrupted views of the Northern Queensland outback from their private decks. The lodge is part of the Northern Escape Collection, offering bespoke itineraries to explore some of Australia’s most unique natural wonders, connecting Mount Mulligan Lodge to other luxury experiences in Northern Australia.

The lodge is set in the shadow of Mount Mulligan, a sandstone monolith 10 times the size of Uluru, on a 70,000-acre working cattle station in remote Far North Queensland. It is a transformed cattle ranch that connects guests to localized experiences and unparalleled nature. The property is a working cattle station, and the main pavilion is a generous, luxurious take on pastoral living, with exceptional locally sourced and caught food and drink. Emphasis is placed on local ingredients, with 80 percent of the produce from the region and a variety of mostly Australian wine and spirits.
