Mallee aviation museums

The Lake Boga Flying Boat Museum, situated between Swan Hill and Kerang on the shores of Lake Boga, is a significant tourist attraction in Victoria's Mallee region. It is renowned for housing the historic Catalina Flying Boat and being the former site of the secret RAAF Repair Depot from 1942 to 1947.

Featuring over 500 artifacts linked to Lake Boga's World War II history, the museum proudly displays the Catalina Flying Boat and a variety of wartime treasures. The restoration of the Catalina A24-30 and the original secret communication bunker was carried out by the Lions Club of Lake Boga.

Open daily from 9 am to 4 pm, with exceptions on Good Friday and Christmas Day, the Lake Boga Flying Boat Museum is conveniently located off the Murray Valley Highway in Catalina Park, Willakool Drive, Lake Boga, VIC 3584. The museum also pays tribute to the original custodians of the lands, namely the Latji Latji, Wemba Wemba, Barapa Barapa, and the Wadi Wadi Nations.
