Noteworthy trails in the region include the Murray Coorong Trail, a 450-kilometer nature-based recreational trail along the Murray River, Lower Lakes, and Coorong waterways. The Chinaman's Well Historic Site Journey is a 16km trail providing a glimpse into the gold rush days of local history. Lastly, the Jack Point Pelican Observatory Walk is a short 1.2km stroll offering breathtaking views of pelicans, terns, and seagulls at their breeding colonies.
