Walpole marine parks

Walpole and Nornalup Inlets Marine Park is a protected area in Western Australia that includes the Walpole and Nornalup Inlets, along with the tidal sections of the Frankland, Deep, and Walpole rivers. The area is renowned for its stunning landscapes, diverse vegetation, and distinctive habitats, featuring jarrah, red tingle, and karri forests, granite peaks, rivers, heathlands, and wetlands.

The Walpole Wilderness Area boasts a wealth of endemic and nationally significant flora and fauna, and is esteemed for its wilderness attributes, old-growth forests, and varied mosaic of landscapes. Some of the parks and reserves within this region include Mount Lindesay National Park, Mount Roe National Park, Mount Shadforth Nature Reserve, Owingup Nature Reserve, Quarram Nature Reserve, Shannon National Park, Walpole-Nornalup National Park, and William Bay National Park.
