Yorke Peninsula military museums

This private museum was established to preserve artifacts previously housed by a Yorke Peninsula RSL club that were discarded following the club's closure. Exhibits at the museum include field cannons, military vehicles, a German Storch aircraft, as well as medals, uniforms, and memorabilia from conflicts like WWII, the Vietnam War, the Korean War, and the Gulf War.

Open on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, the museum also accommodates visits by appointment for bus tours and social groups. Drawing in around 1,200 visitors annually, with approximately 1,500 school children visiting on excursions, the Bublacowie Military Museum occupies two acres of land surrounded by native trees and shrubs. This serene location amidst the fertile wheat and barley fields of the Yorke Peninsula provides a tranquil backdrop for exploring the museum's collection.
