Northwest Tasmania boasts a variety of stunning waterfalls, each with its unique characteristics and beauty. Arms River Falls is located a 10-minute walk from the Forest Education Centre off the Mersey Forest Road, accessible via the Arm River Track. Lobster Falls, situated in the Mole Creek limestone cave area on the Mersey River, is enclosed by 100-meter cliffs, with an overlooking platform reached by a short walk down steps. Enchanted Falls, a picturesque cascading waterfall, can be easily viewed from the bridge on the walk from the Cradle Mountain National Park visitor centre, 3 km from Wilmot.
Tarkine Falls, found within the Tarkine rainforests, feature 152 steep steps descending to the bottom of the cubic-basalt formed falls, with a viewing platform located beyond the falls. Pencil Pine and Knyvet Falls offer an attractive waterfall situated 100 meters downstream from the bridge. Bridal Veil Falls, a single-drop waterfall near the town of Moina, is known for its wide cascade with a strong rectangular shape. St. Columba Falls cascade down a series of well-graded hills, pouring in and out of rocky pools, visible after a moderate uphill walk off the Tasman Highway on the way to St. Helens.
