John Horrocks Cottage in Penwortham in the Clare Valley, South Australia was built in 1839 by pioneer and explorer John Ainsworth Horrocks; one of the first white men to occupy land in the area.
Martindale Hall along with 19 hectares (47 acres) of grounds were later handed to the South Australian Government by the university in 1986.
Located in the middle of Riverton, Scholz Park Museum is one of the comparatively few complete examples of the old, more leisurely way of life.
